¥60,666

Brand introduction:

The brand started in 1992 by exhibiting wooden shoes at an art gallery in Berlin, Germany, by Michael Ehler, a certified shoemaker, and Angela Spiez, a former fashion designer.

The origin of the name Trippen means "toddler." In the olden days, noblewomen would ``toddle'' around wearing sabot-like wooden shoes over their shoes to prevent their shoes from getting dirty on rainy days. Trippen's first collection of ``unwearable wooden sandals'' was inspired by these wooden shoes.

Each pair of Trippen's products is carefully handcrafted to ensure ergonomic comfort. These shoes are fashionable and simple, yet are made to be the best for the human body in terms of human anatomy, and are now praised all over the world as masterpieces. In Japan, they have gained support from a wide range of fashion-conscious young to middle-aged men.

Vegetable tanned calf leather. Waxed after dyeing. Tumbled for a soft finish. The color gradually changes to a more subdued color due to sun exposure. There is also a risk of color transfer. As you wear it, it will become softer and may stretch again.

A unique silhouette that contradicts the strong sole design. Each pair includes an anatomically shaped cork insole. The rubber sole is not glued but sewn to the midsole and upper.
